Luke's List is named in honor of Saint Luke, physician and writer of one of the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles.
Our Lord Jesus Christ sent His humble servant Brother
Mathias Barrett,
founder of the Congregation of the Little
Brothers of the Good Shepherd,
to tend to the needs of persons who are poor, sick and homeless in Miami.
Brother Mathias so loved the people of Miami that he established here
Camillus House, a place of refuge and recovery. The seed planted by Brother
Mathias has grown into a tree of great height and reach, covering all
who seek its comfort and protection. We invite all who are in need of
our Lord's loving, healing and consoling power to submit your prayer
intentions.
Your intentions will be remembered in prayer before God in our Lord's name by the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd.

My best friendship just ended. My friend, a former alcoholic who has had some bad emotional times, is now recovering. I’ve been supportive, but had recent difficulty myself, and relied on him too much without sensitivity. Affected deeply, he abruptly ended things. We’ve always said God brought us together to help each other along our paths and we’ve had a healthy friendship until now. Please pray we find a way back to the love and shared faith we once had and for the reconciliation of J. and B.
